Jackie is totally self-taught in baking industry. It is her relentless self-discipline and creativity that has powered her rise in this competitive and talent-driven field. Using her imagination as her textbook, it's next to impossible to find more ingenious or sophisticated cakes and sweets. Jackie's Creative Cakes & Sweets is a relatively new Filipino local venture based in Scarborough, Ontario. Jackie designs, bakes, decorates and delivers every custom cake. Jackie's specialty flavour is Ube. Ube is a purple yam originally from the Philippines. Different than the purple sweet potato, it has an even sweeter, more mellow taste than its orange relative. Ube has a slightly nutty, vanilla taste and is popularly used in desserts in Filipino cuisine, often boiled and then mashed with condensed milk. From Ube cake to Ube Pandesal, Ube Ice cream and her ever famous Ube Dream Cake, this is the most sought after flavour that people crave at Jackie's Creative Cakes & Sweets. In addition to custom cakes, Jackie also makes a variety of Filipino breads & pastries such as Ensaymada, Sansrival & Silvanas and more. The demand for her customized cakes kept increasing that push her to open her own bakeshop in the midst of pandemic in August 2021. Her cake creations has been featured in Filipino TV, Saan Ba? and OMNI news Television.
